How do you get started? If you are interested in joining USA, the process takes about three months to complete. USA staff members will handle the administrative details so you can continue to practice without interruption. USA staff members will complete a practice assessment for you. Once the assessment is complete and the results reported to you, you can decide at that point if you wish to move forward with USA. What happens to your office staff?Your office staff members will become USA staff members at the same pay levels as with your current group. USA will offer very attractive staff benefits such as health, dental, and vision coverage as well as a matching 401(K) plan. What happens to your professional fees?Your current group will become a local "care center" within USA and will be accounted for as such. All professional fees of your care center will be credited to
your care center and only the costs associated with your care center will be deducted. How do you handle medical malpractice insurance? You may keep your current individual medical malpractice coverage once you join USA. USA will purchase "entity coverage" for exposures related to USA staff members. This is a very important area as we know physicians don't want to have legal exposure for the acts of other physicians. What happens if you are unhappy with USA?Should you decide you are unhappy with USA at any time, you have the freedom to leave. USA does not require long-term contracts or non-compete agreements to participate. We believe our level of expertise, service and outcomes will speak for itself when it comes to overall satisfaction. |
